• USPS Launches Product Sampling Program for Consumer Packaged Goods Companies and Marketers

If your business is interested in sending trial-sized samples to your customers, then this might be worth considering. Called the "Product Samples" Promotion which will run from August 1 to September 30, 2013, the USPS offers Mail Service Providers (MSPs) and Consumer Packaged Goods companies an upfront 5% postage discount on Standard Mail and Nonprofit Marketing Parcels that contain samples. This, according to USPS, will give mailers a cost-effective way to get a sample of their product to their customers. Eligible companies may register until September 30, 2013. Note that qualified samples must be trial-sized.
