New USPS Priority Mail Stamp Features USS Arizona Memorial
The USS Arizona Memorial will be the latest art to be featured for the United States Post Office's Priority Mail Express stamp. Released on March 13, 2014, the new stamp depicts the white concrete memorial under a sunny sky and bright clouds with the American flag overhead.
The USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii's Pearl Harbor welcomes millions of visitors each year who come to honor and pay their respects to the 1177 sailors aboard the Arizona who lost their lives in the events of December 7, 1941.
The USS Arizona Memorial Priority Mail Express stamp will cost $19.99 and will be available in sheets of 10
The illustration was created by Dan Cosgrove, with art director Phil Jordan.
